Verticals Intensive
Dates: 19 January - 16 February 2025
What is it?
A 28-day dynamic silk and rope intensive workshop in a dreamy, outdoor location, under the canopy of coconut trees. The workshop is designed for you to learn new skills, refine what you already know, build strength, and foster a strong network with the circus community from around the world.
What will the course cover?
The focus is on building and refining foundations for dynamic movement in order to unlock high-level dynamic skills, with a strong focus on technique, and injury prevention. We will explore creative sequencing, dynamic routines, and help you build a strong personal aerial practice. We will also be doing act creation and creative exploration classes and will help you build or refine an aerial act to present on our stage in a student show at the end of the course.
Level Requirements:

Intermediate (1) - able to invert on short arm / long arm hangs and enter multi-step poses

Intermediate (2) - able to execute aerial drops

Intermediate (3) - able to enter and manoeuvre through balances
Who are the instructors?
Celeste Flores and Nacho Ricci are both former Cirque du Soleil performers making their way to India for the first time from Argentina!
How many students per class?
This intensive is limited to 14 students
What is included in the retreat fee?
The course fee includes tuition, use of equipment and circus space, on site accommodation just a couple minutes walk from Palolem beach, nutritious food at Traverse Luxe Hostel, Palolem, Goa, and a fun group excursion to explore the beautiful nature of Goa.

Exchange rates are subject to change as per market fluctuation, the base rate is in Indian rupees and may affect the door or euro rate depending on date of payment; The cost of currency exchange is not included in the retreat fee.
What is not included?
Travel arrangements, visas, and any upgrades on stay, food, activities and entertainment. Please note, if you have special needs or alternative arrangements that require us to accommodate, please write to us here.
*We aim to be as inclusive as possible for all of our programs, if students are unable to pay the full rate, please send us a letter of explanation stating why you are unable to pay the full rate with necessary documentation. We are able to support 2 participants with up to a 20% discount on our programs.
